From humble beginnings to a thriving business:

Born out of necessity during tough times, Better Built Sheds (formerly Better Built Barns) started on a dairy farm in 1994. When the family farm faced financial challenges, our father, Vic Brown, used his expertise to support the family. He sold the farm and leveraged his barn-building skills, turning hardship into a foundation. Thanks to the family's contributions and years of dedication in the industry, that hard work ultimately paid off.

Success Breeds Opportunity:

After 13 years of steady growth, our quality products caught the eye of Lowe's in 2007. This partnership opened doors, leading to collaborations with Jerry's and McLendon's Home Improvement. We also expanded to serve Washington, Idaho, and Colorado.

Family Values, Lasting Quality:

Today, we are led by Travis Brown and his wife, carrying on the family tradition from the headquarters in Salem, Oregon.  Their focus is on providing customers with Innovative, exceptional designs and superior craftsmanship. With a team of exceptional people, our company is growing.  We are happy to be able to provide a quality product and good jobs with benefits for our local community.
